Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items (souvlaki, gyros, salads, rice, and sides) following OPA! brand standards and recipes.
Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately at the counter, processing payments, and serving food in a friendly and timely manner.
Food Safety & Quality Control: Adhere strictly to Food Safety guidelines, maintain correct holding temperatures, and ensure food freshness and quality.
Sanitation & Maintenance: Maintain a high level of cleanliness across the kitchen, food prep areas, dining area, and customer counters.
Inventory & Restocking: Assist with stock rotation (FIFO), restocking prep stations, and receiving delivery orders safely.

Requirements

1 Year previous experience as a cook
Good English Communication Skills (CLB 5)
Good French Communication Skills (NCLC 5)
Highschool Graduation Required
The ability to work efficiently while meeting company standards
The ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
The physical stamina and strength needed to stand and work for eight hours each day

Work Conditions

Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts may be required.
Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work efficiently, handle peak lunch/dinner rushes calmly, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexible Work Schedule: Shifts may include daytimes, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on restaurant operational needs.
Teamwork & Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in English and a collaborative attitude to work smoothly with team members.
Uniform & Personal Hygiene: Adherence to the company dress code and strict personal hygiene and grooming standards.
